Country Club Drive
This growing family purchased an existing home that had been added on to many times. Throughout these home addition processes, several different wood trims and design styles had been used. The first step for the home was developing a clean palate that flowed easily throughout the home. Painting the woodwork, including trim, windows, and doors, gave the home the clean palate the homeowners desired. Having small children and enjoying entertaining, the family knew they wanted space for both children and adults to utilize comfortably. Custom wood design was used in many spaces of this home – from custom shelving to framing wall space and creating ambiance by separating spaces. The basement bar is a favorite of this family. The homeowner knew he wanted all dark wood with custom wood ceiling to give the bar space the feel and look he desired. The basement bar’s final custom designed is inspired by a circa 1920s bar in downtown Chicago. Having the best bar in town, many of friends remark the family should open for service.
