Having spend most of their lives in Western Nebraska, ranching, this family was looking for a home closer to grandkids. A change of pace from western cowboy design to a more modern feel, clean lines were a focus for this wife. Being very active with their grandchildren, they wanted an open space with a cozy feel in the basement for the kids to play board games and watch movies. The custom ceilings in the living room and master bedroom raise the eye and open the space, adding a feeling of depth to the entire first floor. The family loves the stairwell design as it keeps the grandkids’ noise downstairs and allows for enjoyment and entertaining upstairs.
